The YGC solution provides electronic data interchange , the most widely used and accepted data standard for translating data from geographically and technologically disparate sources, and data analysis and reporting tools. YGC enables our clients to communicate quickly, consistently and cost-efficiently and to gain new insights into the performance of their collection efforts.
No. YGC is a web-based application. There is no software to purchase or install. All data transfer and reporting operations take place via a secure web portal.
No. YGC data is not processed via e-mail. Data is transferred via our secure web portal or FTP server. The data is encrypted in both directions, ensuring security. The email communication you receive are status alerts about data transfers, errors or system updates, but never the data itself.
All YGC servers are protected by multiple levels of security which include physical and network access. Protections include secure server room access, hardware (intrusion detection) and software (firewalls, anti-virus software) to protect our servers.

Upon processing data, YGC sends out an email notification containing details about the processed data (number of new accounts, number of updates etc.). We also provide a comprehensive web interface to your mailbox, where you can pick up or send data.
No, a collection software system is not needed. You can choose to create data files in one of several alternate formats and upload, download and create claims via our web data portal.
Yes. Receivers of accounts pay a small fixed monthly fee. This fee covers licensing, training, customer service phone and email support. Senders of accounts pay a per account fee based on the type of account. In addition, there are data migration and other charges, if such services are requested by the client.

We currently have more than 700 law firms and collection agencies in the YGC network.
YGC Data Exchange is open 24/7, meaning data can be accepted at anytime. YGC does not have mandatory upload/download requirements. The debt provider (client) usually sets the frequency they expect to receive status updates, financial information, etc. from their agencies and attorneys.
Every time a sendor or receiver sends data, everyone involved is notified via email.
YGC Customer Service provides technical support from 8:30 am to 8:30 PM ET Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm ET on Friday.
YGC is scheduled to processes data every two hours from 6:15 am to 10:45 pm Eastern time, and twice on weekends. Our processing takes place every day, including holidays.
